Google Maps vs Terrorism
The high-resolution static pictures (except of defense establishments or federal facilities like parliament or senate houses) can provide a means of unobjectionable entertainment to the regular netizens. For example check the swastika shaped building in San Diego.
These are very useful, but could potentially be miused by the one-who-must-not-be-named. Real time pictures can show the position of our tanks or troops and could be a dead giveaway about any strategic warfare. Also the precise location of critical facilities could aid terrorists in successful execution of terror attacks at the intended targets.
