Diwali blasts
59 people had been killed and 210 injured in the serial blasts in Delhi on saturday 29th.
Fact: Inquilab group, formed in 1996, which has claimed responsibility for the explosions was connected to Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Tayyiba.
Lashkar-e-Toiba and the Jaish-e-Mohammad are the only two groups capable of carrying out these types of attacks. Both groups are based in Pakistan, although they have been outlawed, and have been listed as terrorist groups by the US State Department.
These explosions have been timed to generate hostility during the festive season when people of all communities are celebrating our national festivals.
I hope that the terrorists shall not succeed in dampening the spirit, will, capacity and the resolution of the people of Indian to live in Harmony.
This is not about any religion. These terrorists don’t have religion or human values.
It is my understanding that the terrorists and politicians are taking the innocent people for a ride. This is only going to lead both the countries to spend billions of dollars on weapons that could be utilized for the welfare of population.
Fact: Pakistan has no plans to cut its defense spending despite needing billions of dollars to rebuild after a catastrophic earthquake devastated the north of the country, President Pervez Musharraf said on Monday.
